My experience includes credit and credit management as well as lending and lending management. As Co-Founder of Commerce State Bank in 2005, I helped raise $12 million of capital primarily from the local communities where I have worked my entire career. I had built a small business portfolio exceeding $100 million and the majority of these customers followed me to our new bank.Commerce State Bank has grown to over $300 million in assets and has generated a profit in every full calendar year of operations. Due to the significant growth of the bank, the Co-Founders raised an additional $12 million of capital in subsequent offerings as well as $5 million of subordinated debt without the help of investment bankers. I am a member of the Bank's Board of Directors.
