This program started the fall of 1996 and was a collaboration of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education and Human Development. September 1995-1998.Program Director: The Earth System Science Program (ESSP) at the University of Southern Maine, sponsored by NASA grant ($175,000) through the Maine Space Grant Consortium. The goal of this program was to offer K-12 teachers the opportunity to study science in an interdisciplinary context and develop science curricula 1991-1996.
