I worked for Costain PLC on a water framework scheme for the North West water body United Utilities.The main project mission was over a 5 year period from 2019-2024 to help United Utilities run a more stream line approach to running the business from the engineers sent to site to the main office in Warrington.my role was to assist the engineering team at the head office to resolve on-site issues from emergency calls Priority 1- Priority 4 which would have to be resolved from 0-2 hours to 24 hour callouts, all the way from Priority 5 - Priority 9 calls which would be from 7 days to 30 day callout but the difference being these would have to be quoted by an approved sub-contractor within the specified timeframe allocated on the data software which was brought in to speed up the United Utilities process.

I have recently joined Balfour Beatty as an Assistant Materials Technician and have just passed my Graduate assessment in London to gain my Graduate Materials Engineer title.Over the next 1-2 years I will be working on the Hinkley Point Marine project as Balfour Beatty being the main contractor for the tunnelling section, the client being NNB / HPC.Gained 2 years worth of technical laboratory experience with concrete blocks, CBR tests, shear vain tests, compaction block tests to measure the concretes strength and also the curing of the concrete. Earthworks, soil testing and Asphalt testing.
