SolidarMed is a Swiss based Health NGO with programmes across Africa. As the country coordinator I am responsible for all aspects of the SolidarMed programme in Mozambique, including:- Managing an in country team of 80 people including expatriate doctors.- Coordinating project activities with project managers including full life cycle project management. Developing project logical frameworks, project yearly plans, programme budget control, reporting to donors. All projects delivered annual programmes to budget despite significant challenges.- Representing the programme at national level with key stakeholders including Ministry of health, provincial government, health partners and international donors.- Institutional development, including reorganisation of programme support teams, expansion of the programme into new districts, internal process review.

Project management and technical support in:Climate Change Mitigation - Project and programme management and advisory services.Climate Change Adaptation - Assessment of climate change vulnerability and adaptive capacity of communities, and development of context specific solutions. Mainstreaming Adaptation into existing strategies and programmes.Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – I have developed and run CSR management systems for climate change companies and run project assessments against CSR criteria. I can help understand and define CSR obligations and implement appropriate strategies to suit.

Climate Link Limited is a consultancy providing climate change mitigation and adaptation advisory services. As one of the two founding directors I was responsible for all aspects of the business. We successfully delivered over 50 contracts in the first year of operation, building a broad client base and achieving profit, despite tough market conditions.

Responsible for managing Social and Environmental risks including World Commission on Dams (WCD) requirements for the whole portfolio of carbon offset projects. Responsible for coordinating third party validation and verification of the portfolio of carbon offset projects.
