I'm an architect and builder striving to make joyous buildings that are environmentally conscious, in harmony with people & place, both in materiality and function.Having completed my Part I at the University of Bath and Part II in Copenhagen, I qualified as an architect in 2019. I've worked in various architectural practices on a diverse range of projects in London, Bath and Copenhagen. I currently work for Grain Architecture, a small ethical design practice specialising in the use of natural low-carbon materials.​I'm passionate about the craft and the making of buildings with a particular interest in wood. Before joining Grain I spent a year learning carpentry in a Chestnut woodland in Sussex, where I helped to build two beautiful Sweet-chestnut cabins and designed a garden studio made of Douglas Fir, Sweet-chestnut and Cork. I believe that the environmental movement is a rich source of inspiration for architecture which forces us to confront some difficult questions about how we live, leading to new solutions often inspired by old practices.​Currently based in Bristol, I'm interested in integrating more natural materials and craft into the architecture of the city and bringing more of the natural world into our urban spaces.​A keen cyclist, I want to explore the world by bike, having cycled from London to Athens in 2021 and then to Lisbon in 2022, I'm slowly making I'm way around Europe.
