• Provide advice and information as appropriate to both existing and prospective business boating customers enabling them to make an informed decision as to whether they wish to start or expand their business.• Acting as ‘account manager’ for existing boating businesses (includes debt management, business expansion, compliance with terms & conditions, operational and navigational issues).• Manage new business applications, including consulting with colleagues and with the applicants in order to establish a properly authorised boating business. Where this is not possible to work with the applicant to provide a reasoned rejection of the proposal and manage disappointment or challenges to the decision.• Promotion of strategic boating opportunities, including managing tender processes.• Provide internal colleagues with an appropriate level of advice and support on business boating in matters such as events, planning applications, customer and stakeholder meetings.• Conflict resolution relating to complaints about boating businesses within region before they reach the Trust’s complaint process.• Support the National Business Boating Manager with the development of policy and procedures including assuming responsibility for national projects within the sector.• Support the National Business Boating Manager with other duties as required.
