Tom is a trial lawyer who takes on a wide range of personal injury cases. In 2021, he tried the lawsuit against the United States arising out of the Sutherland Springs mass shooting. There, the Court found the Government jointly and severally liable to the families for causing the mass shooting and returned a $230m verdict. He’s participated in appeals at the United States Supreme Court, argued before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and tried cases across the country.Before his trial practice, he clerked at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He graduated first in his class from Baylor Law School. While there, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review and named Top Gun of his Practice Court class.
