A summary of my responsibilities is as follows:• Project management leadership• ITW toolbox initiatives – specifically PLS• Direct interaction with strategic customers across several welding market segments in North America• Direct interaction with robotic integrators, and robot manufacturers for product development, and continuous improvement.• Leading cross functional teams through corrective actions, including root cause analysis, implementation and control of solutions, verification, and follow up communication affected end users.• Continued integration of project management methodology and tools to facilitate more effective planning, execution, and monitoring and controlling of project activities, including work breakdown structures, along with both small and large project planning documentation.• Development of several patented technologies including an automated robotic torch cleaning center, rotating weld cable connection for robots, and consumable designs.• Liaise directly with large scale strategic customers, including with robotic manufacturers for application and design (Motoman, FANUC, ABB, OTC)• Initiation of research into new technologies that support or enhance the business, build weld process knowledge within the R&D and design teams. • Continuous development of team members skill sets by encouraging ongoing training and education.
