During my time covering the role of a fashion assistant at Sheerluxe I assisted in both the editorial and administrative aspects of running a fast paced industry leading publication. I gained experience in the organisation and execution of photo shoots, including styling and overseeing the product used on set. I featured as a guest on the LuxeGirl podcast, in which I was part of a commercial Starbucks segment and group discussion on current trends. I was also responsible for sourcing inspiration on current trends to be promoted on the company’s social media channels as well as collating databases of relevant influencers that represent the aesthetic of the magazine. I have also written articles targeted at Gen Z that have been published by LuxeGen to over 400,000 readers.

My internship at Fincham Communications entailed three months of working in a fast paced PR agency working with international brands. I undertook the task of organising the on-site showroom which involved logging thousands of pieces of inventory and meticulously storing them for ease of use and productivity. Alongside organisational tasks in the showroom I was also in close contact with editorial and VIP teams of all main UK publications, providing them with availability and suitability of samples and ensuring they were allocated correctly. I leased closely with Versace’s Head Offices in Milan, ensuring shipments of high value merchandise were meeting time requirements for celebrity dressing and editorial content. My time at Fincham taught me the value of timekeeping and precise, fluent communication in order for operations to run smoothly in a high-stake industry.

During my time at Anthropologie I became fluent in the nuances of delivering exceptional customer service in a high-end high street environment. I was given responsibilities such as managing the closing of the store, overseeing and maintaining high visual standards of the store and training new employees. I was also extensively involved in the back of house operations within the store as a result of my attention to detail and organisational skills. This included managing and unpacking high volumes of deliveries and ensuring they were processed correctly onto the shop floor or stockroom.
