I’m a Brisbane based industrial, user interface and graphic designer. With my career commencing in 2008 at Riviera Yachts, I’ve since worked for a wide variety of businesses and products including Innotech Controls - Australia’s largest manufacturer of heating ventilation and air condition controllers, and their subsidiary businesses. I've most recently worked on an cutting edge satellite telemetry product with Zepiro. I’ve also provided freelance design services to several small and medium sized businesses, as well as a number of private clients. During my professional career I have worked on over 50 successfully commercialised product developments involving research, project planning, risk assessments, part design, prototyping, interface design, tooling, documentation and marketing material. I have been responsible for part designs going into more than 70 injection moulding tools, and have supervised their development and trials. I am additionally involved in interface design for front end software development specialising in XAML and C# but with experience in web as well.In this time I have been responsible for managing and mentoring junior designers and have also managed projects. My primary experience is within in-house RND teams but I have also worked on numerous consulting projects.I am skilled at (and enjoy) working in multi-disciplinary teams and am confident when communicating with clients and other disciplines such as electronics engineers and software developers whilst negotiating features for designs. I am always looking to learn from other disciplines to develop my skill set and better perform in future projects.I have extensive experience in creating Graphic Designs for advertisements, web, packaging, instruction manuals, type setting, signage, artistic works, and preparing media for print.I am particularly experienced with user centered design processes for Industrial, Graphic and User Interface Design projects. I have excellent software skills with Solidworks, Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Blend/Visual Studio & Various rendering packages including Keyshot.
