Manager of the Technical / Purchase / ICT department. The department has overall technical responsibility of the Companys fleet consisting of 16 vessels. The department is also responsible for all purchasing within the Company and for ICT.The department is consisting of 4 Technical Superintendents, two purchasers and one ICT manager, in addition to myself leading the department.Member of the Companys Management Group.In my present position I have been very much involved in development of new technology and new solutions, not only within the Company but also towards different projects and studies, ie regarding unmanned platforms, gangway access solutions etc. I am capable of working with the team to explore new opportunities and to find new and improved ways of working. I'm not afraid of challenging the "established truths" or to ask "stupid" questions. I also believe that it is very important to have a strong operational focus - especially when developing new technology. I have a practical way if thinking - meaning that it is very important to me to always keep in mind the actual "end-user" of any technology development, project etc. For me it is important to listen to the people involved. I have a lot of experience from participation in broader project groups involving other Companies, Class, Authorities, etc. Simon Møkster Shipping has highly advanced and spesialized vessels and has for many years been in the forefront regarding use of new technology. I have participated actively in the development of these vessels.

Technical superintendent for a group of offshore vessels. Responsible for all technical matters including budgets, class related work, planning and execution of shipyard stay, modifications etc.Also participation in newbuilding team during the period.

Started as superintendent trainee in 1996. Worked as project engineers on various projects 1997 - 1998 and thereafter as assistent rig superintendent.
