About Tom Keane

I began my career with Wood & Grieve Engineers (Melbourne) at the beginning of 2013 until December 2016 as a Structural Engineer. I became a proficient design engineer on many projects across commercial office buildings, education, multi-residential, hospitality, health and aged care sectors ranging from $100,000 to $100 million.Since the beginning of 2017, I have been working in the United Kingdom (London) for BuroHappold Engineers on the Grade II* listed £1.6 billion Battersea Power Station re-development. My involvement in this project has encompassed a number of different design packages from the basement sub-structure design to external façade openings and existing fabric repairs. From January 2018 I began working part-time design/on-site in a Resident Engineer role, working closely with the Tier 1 contractor and more than 10 specialist sub-contractors to ensure my design packages were successfully delivered to the full design intent.
