In this role, I started as a glass collector of a weekend, but soon progressed to secure a place on the bar. When working on the bar, this gave me a lot of skills with meeting new people everyday so that grew my confidence and I was working in a team for the whole duration of the time I worked there. This also gave me some opportunities to work in other bars across the city such as Anfield Stadium and Nightclubs in town. Towards the end of my time with Liverpool Cricket club I was known and respected in the building. I was also trusted with locking up the building after shifts and working alone in the bar, which was a big task as it was a huge building erected in the early 1800s
