Streetworks Coordinator
CurrentTo provide Subject Matter Expert support to the street works administrators, enabling the administration of charges and penalties relating to street works to be carried out effectively. To deliver a high quality of Street Works service and compliance to NRSWA (1991) and TMA (2008) and associated codes of practice. To be the first point of escalation for street works penalty and charge queries, providing an impartial review of evidence and an appropriate response. To monitor VM Street Works operations undertaken by contract partners, liaising with Local Authorities and Contract Partners to ensure that VM Street Works operation complies with current legislation and codes of practice. Support internal and external team with both transactional and non-transactional queries across all functions the Streetworks team owns using knowledge of NRSWA. Track the operational performance across all work streams whilst communicating issues with the Highway Authorities, the wider business and contract partners to resolve. Alongside the Technical Analysts for Noticing & Compliance, resolve technical issues to ensure smooth running of the noticing process, improving noticing efficiency and reducing costs to the business (e.g. reducing Fixed Penalty Notices, S74 overruns, permit fees). Provide support to contract partner noticing teams, providing explanation and assistance as required. Communicate with contractors to understand any issues and prevent recurrence. Own the recording and reporting of Symology/Street Manager issues and the communication of issues and resolutions to all relevant parties. Deal with complex and escalated street works queries across all work streams communicating any issues. Communicate well with Stakeholders and customers to ensure queries are resolved effectively and within SLA. Familiarity with the various Streetworks platforms e.g. Street Manager, Aurora, Symology, Bentley
