    Designed and built a new Datacenter post Hurricane Sandy from the ground up in under 2 months. This datacenter was based on the latest technologies, including datacenter networking technologies that allowed Emblem to quickly relocate an entire datacenter from multiple recovery rooms in our DR facilities without having to make any changes to application flow. NEXUS 7K, 5K and 2Ks were combined with Cisco UCS chassis and VMWare to configure an extremely flexible and scalable datacenter.Designed and built a new Recovery center with very similar properties to the datacenter. The real-time replication capability of data and systems was designed around cutting edge technologies. SRM and Recover point protect the Virtual and Database environment on EMC VNX frames while Isilon technologies protect the file repositories for the enterprise. OTV and VPLEX were designed but not yet implemented to complete the alternate site.Information Security implemented several new technologies, including Symantec’s DLP solution. Vulnerability management and Risk management programs were implemented to provide a higher level of information security. The transformation from a compliance centric posture to a Security centric posture was the driving force behind these efforts.Actively involved in a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) with Gartner as a result of Super Storm Sandy.Actively involved in out-source opportunities such as PeopleSoft Finance/HR; Cognos; SASMigrated server technologies from HP to Cisco UCS both Physical and VirtualUpgraded virtual environment from VMware 5 to 5.1Managing mainframe system consisting of 2 IBM processors total of 1860 mips; z114 1 - 2818 W03 with ICF, IFL and zIIP engines (1230 mips); Z9 2096 S03 with ICF and zIIP (630 mips) running in a parallel sysplex with a total of 10 LPARs. Software suite: Z/OS V1.13, DB2 V9, CICS TS V4.2, MQ V7z, VM, zLinuxEMC VMAX 20K and Luminex/DD880 (soon to be DLM/DD990) VTL tape library
