Senior Design Engineer responsible for the design and development of product and process equipment enhancements for customer’s manufacturing equipment and systems.Work examples include the following: I designed raw material handling conveyor and transport systems enhancements for Century Aluminum in Hawesville, Ky.I designed a robotic lubrication installation and access system for new 3000 and 4000 ton die casting machines at GM Powertrain in Bedford, IN. I also designed ancillary systems installation components for these same machines, including cable wireways, utilities piping and mounting systems, and grout leveling frameworks and mountings for the equipment bases.For the Century Aluminum facility in Sebree, KY, I developed and designed a retrofit guarding system for the more than 2 1/2 miles of bauxite and carbon conveyors at this facility. These were designed to exceed OSHA requirements for personnel safety and be fast and easy to install.

As well as the selection of all machine sensors and the machine integration, and the design and selection of all hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
