In 2015, I was selected to serve as Executive Director, where I assumed responsibility to establish a new European region. I was given a blank canvas to establish a 5-year business plan for success, which included executing large-scale energy-from-waste and renewable energy projects. Throughout my career, I have provided innovative solutions to address unique business challenges and established strong investment relationships. Some of my significant achievements include the following:• Cultivating lender relationships to support development of key infrastructure projects, including Protos Energy Recovery Facility [ERF], Rookery ERF, Earls Gate Energy Centre and Newhurst ERF, all financed through non-recourse debt totaling over £900M. • Leading a startup effort to support operations and business growth in UK, which included establishing infrastructure, hiring a leadership team, and overseeing construction projects, costs, and business expectations.• Executing development and securing financing of €500M for Dublin WTE, Covanta’s first new EfW development in 15+ years and one of the largest ERF developments in Europe.
