Politics of all levels and policies are two major interests of mine. From these interests I am committed to two goals, informing and emancipating people. I devote myself to projects that are aimed at improving and making our society more sustainable, and that offer everyone an equal opportunity to develop.During my study time I did an English-taught Bachelor in International Public Management, in The Hague. This has created a good foundation in international relations, political science, policymaking, economics and organizational science. After this, I went to Barcelona to get my Master in Political Science. In this study I specialized in conducting thorough research, evaluating and creating public policy, and political communication. In addition, during my time in Barcelona, I have been able to experience up close, and followed with great interest, a political struggle for the independence of Catalonia. This experience has taught me a lot about different ways of campaigning, citizen participation, mobilization, and political strategy. In both studies, I have also learned how to deal with people from different cultures and countries, but also learn from the different perspectives they brought with them.In addition to my school, I have always worked for a better society and people's position. For example, I worked for the study program committee of my bachelor, I was a board member of the study association, I supported an organization that helps refugees, and I was a (board) member of the LEO club de Haegsche Kamer. During this time, for example, I organized an event series "Career Path Events" that organized workshops and guest lectures with people from the field, to give students the opportunity to ask questions about study and career.
