Up to 150 people will be impacted with around 100 workstations redeployed.Shanghai/Beijing LAN Upgradeo Provided Anheuser-Busch International (ABII) with redesign and replacement of existing End of Sale (EOS) / End of Life (EOL) LAN equipment at Shanghai and Beijing, China. New equipment and systems where designed according to current Anheuser-Busch Companies Corporate Local Area Network (LAN) guidelines, policies, and procedures. ABEL KNDL Warehouse WAN/LAN Projecto ABEL had an opportunity to significantly reduce costs while expanding distribution options in the UK. This came via switching distribution contract vendors. The existing Distributor and their Infrastructure had to stay in place while the new warehouses where brought online. There was no Infrastructure in place for ABEL at the proposed new warehouse sites; Hams Hall, Livingston, Wakefield, Trafford Park, Thatcham, Dagenham, Harlesden, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Part of this project was completed in conjunction with ABEL’s WAN replacement project. Another 15-day trip completed the project successfully in August.Anheuser-Busch Europe Limited (ABEL) WAN Replacemento The existing network connections where utilizing an older technology that required upgrading. This was because AT&T was phasing out Frame Relay technology; IBM indicated that AT&T would not extend ABEL’s contract beyond April 30, 2007. All ABEL network connections had to be migrated to a new IP network prior to that date. Spent 33 days in the UK completing this project, project was successful. -
Network AdministratorEds (Gm Wentzville Truck Plant) 2000 - 2006o Developed strategic plans for 2006 BlockPoint (Cisco IOS upgrade). Plan included pilot site as well as nine other truck sites including Wentzville. Determined all technical requirements; used GM/EDS Methodology throughout lifecycle of project, producing the deliverables stated below as they applied to the various phases of the project.o Managed multiple infrastructure projects, each one bringing new Sequence suppliers into the GM Build Environment; each Supplier filled a strategic objective for GM - ranging from axle builds, seats, headliners, etc. Suppliers were provided sequential build information and tasked with sequencing and delivering parts in narrow time frames to insure no stoppage in assembly line.o Responsible for the complete overhaul of existing LAN infrastructure, installation of WLAN, replacement of Whittaker Hubs with Cisco switches, and implementation of 6 new racks of HP 2003 servers to replace old outdated NT servers. Updated new LAN infrastructure from 5500 / 3550 switches to 6500 /3750 stacks requiring new fiber runs for each of the diverse paths.Execution through the complete lifecycle phases of GM/EDS Methodology starting with review of customer’s strategic plan and initial requirements, researching existing infrastructure and presenting customer with technical requirements applicable to bringing their ideas to fruition (High Level Design).o Acted as the account liaison between General Motors and E.D.S. Assisted plant management with resolution of production critical issues to insure problems were corrected and solved in the appropriate time frame to meet and exceed GM manufacturing client expectations. Recorded reoccurring problems and assisted system owners with solutions by following and implementing procedural guidelines. Tasked with hardware contracts to improve on the delivery of maintenance and service to the customer. Championed the Print Center printer replacement effort of over 130 printers.
