Policyholder litigation: At Kilpatrick I represented the firm’s institutional clients against various international and domestic insurance carriers on all types of claims on all insurance lines. Our efforts resulted in the firm’s clients recovering millions of dollars in claims as well as millions of dollars in claim expenses including defense costs.

Antitrust and securities class actions: Represented direct purchasers in Antitrust actions against manufacturers including the national class action against the cigarette manufacturers.

Direct and coverage litigation for international insurance carriers, primarily Lloyd's. Represented Lloyd's in several pollution actions due to railroad fueling sites and petroleum pipelines. Also represented domestic insurers in both third party liability claims and first party property claims.
