Tom was named to Super Lawyers' Rising Stars List for 2018 as a Top Rated Personal Injury Attorney in the field of Personal Injury - General: Defense and Civil Litigation: Defense.While at Ryan Ryan Deluca, Tom was the associate responsible for all Connecticut litigation arising out of the May 2013 Metro-North train derailment in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a mass tort resulting in over 100 claims and lawsuits from nearly 60 plaintiffs in Connecticut. Tom also assisted in the successful defense through trial of what is believed to be the first spray polyurethane foam (SPF) product liability case tried in the country. Other practice areas in litigation included premises liability, automobile and trucking accidents, vexatious litigation, municipal defense, product liability, diminution of value claims, civil assault, and more.
