Over the last 19 years I have developed myself and I have a strong knowledge of all aspects of logistics. I have used various computer systems in many different departments and have a sound understanding of procedures and systems of work. When presented with new systems I have adapted and grown to understand them quickly and this has helped me to learn and adapt processes to suit the task given to me.Methodical and organised with a keen eye for detail, I have the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure everything gets done promptly and to a high standard.Always looking to develop myself, in my current job as a Depot Supervisor I have learnt a great deal about transport in a role which supports the operation manager and I step in for them when needed. This has taught me team many new skills and given me a more in depth understanding of the operational side to the business. I have greatly enjoyed my time spent doing this and it has given me the desire to progress and develop myself further. I am ambitious and confident and I am currently looking for progression on my career path and I have many transferable skills to bring to a new role. Highly driven and ambitious, I'm constantly looking to learn as much as I can and be the best person for the job. Naturally inquisitive and analytical I enjoy discovering how things are done and I often offer my input to make improvements where I can see room for improvement. I am quick to pick up new tasks with an ability to gain a solid understanding of what's involved.I enjoy interacting with people and helping them as much as I can. Communication is paramount in building relationships and I am a good listener always willing to take on any suggestions.
