About Tom Lanigan

I mostly provide structural design and construction monitoring of building components. More recently I've also provided seismic reviews (IEPs) and strengthening design of buildings.I try to optimise strength, economy and buildability. Designs need to comply with the NZ Building Code & standards, and council requirements. Mostly I work with architectural draughtspeople, builders and owners, and liase with council officials and checkers.
