I currently work within the Banking and Treasury team for JTC Employee Solutions.I started my career in Banking and Finance back in 2014 at HSBC Expat as a Premier Associate, within the premier contact center. I would receive calls throughout the day catering for each client for the specific needs or requests delivering a seamless premier experience. This would comprise of making payments, card queries, sending Certificate of Interest, statements etc, while accumulating exceptional communication skills.After 2 years in the Contact Center I moved within the company to become a Premier Wealth Associate which effectively is an unregulated Relationship Manager. I would reach out to clients on my portfolio to discuss potential preferential FX rates, mortgage and investment opportunities. Once the need was established I would refer the client to a regulated RM who would continue to process the discovered need, I was in this role for almost a year before an opportunity arose at RBC within the Static Data Management team.After being on the front line for almost 3 years I wanted to experience the industry from a back office perspective and joining the Static Data team at RBC was the right move. This role gave me a much better understanding of what goes on behind the scenes allowing me to make the link between requesting a change of information and actually making those Static Data amendments.
