Performed equipment evaluations from various vendors and participated in selecting the eventual vendor. Collaborated with Design and the vendor to implement various design changes to make the splice platform and auxiliary equipment more ergonomically and Operator friendly.Led a team that defined and created specifications for a new software program that collects product splice requirements, controls the splice equipment, reports on collected splice data and serves as a maintenance work order generator.
