But that not the case with the baggage repatriation system (BagRepat). BagRepat is a full scale dispatch system with route optimisation and automated times of arrival. The software links back into SITA WorldTracer and updates the files with a full audit trial. The delivery company scans the baggage at the collection point and again at their sorting office. The baggage is then scanned onto a vehicle and finally the software captures the passengers’ signature at the doorstep.
