About Tom Lerner

Hi LinkedIn, I’m looking forward to connecting with you! Here’s a bit about me.πŒπŽπ•πˆππ† π“πŽ 𝐔𝐒𝐀 π“πŽ π’π“π”πƒπ˜ π†π€πŒπ„ πƒπ„π’πˆπ†π πŸ•ΉοΈI was born and raised in Israel with my brother and sister. I graduated with a bachelor’s in Logistics and Economics, then completed my service in the Israeli Defense Force. When I turned 21, I moved to the US to pursue a master's degree in video game design where I learned about production and media design. For my final project, I managed a team of undergraduate artists and programmers to develop a game and then moved to Los Angeles after graduation. πŒπ€ππ€π†πˆππ† π‚π‘π„π€π“πˆπ•π„ ππ‘πŽπ‰π„π‚π“π’ & πˆππ“π„π‘π€π‚π“πˆπ•π„ π„π—ππ„π‘πˆπ„ππ‚π„π’ πŸ’»I landed at Capture Interactive, a startup that developed interactive experiences for cultural centers and corporate spaces. The company was owned by 2 partners with no software development experience so I took the challenge head-on, leading a team of 8 to deliver 20+ projects for clients. I implemented systems, structures, and improvements over my 2 years while establishing company processes and project management methods internally. One of the owners invited me to work at Digiscura. My role expanded to cover all digital interactive creative designs and I was able to reduce development time by over 30%. I delivered 25+ projects for major clients like Boeing, HBO, and GE with budgets ranging from $25k to $2M. However, the pandemic caused company-wide furloughs, including myself.π‹π„π€πƒπˆππ† π“π„π‚π‡ππˆπ‚π€π‹ πŽπππŽπ€π‘πƒπˆππ† & 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐀 πŒπˆπ†π‘π€π“πˆπŽππ’ πŸ“ŠNext, I joined Zola Suite. They merged with AbacusNext and rebranded as Caret Legal. I manage ETL onboardings for their legal management platform, serving numerous law firms and overseeing the entire project lifecycle. I’ve directed multiple complex data migrations, liaising directly with engineers and clients, offering data analysis, reporting, and client training. Additionally, I've cross-trained my team, resolved data issues, and provided continuous feedback for product enhancement. I’ve also developed scripts for better data visualization and started integrating ML tools.𝐋𝐄𝐓'𝐒 π‚πŽπππ„π‚π“ 𝐎𝐍 π‹πˆππŠπ„πƒπˆπ 🌎Outside of work, I enjoy taking my dog to the park, staying active, coding electronics, and kitesurfing. If you’re looking to chat with an effective project manager who excels at product development, agile team leadership, client management, and interactive media design, we should definitely connect on LinkedIn.Thanks for reading my story,Tom~
