We're enjoying the retired life here in the Valley of the Sun.I am now volunteering with the 1st Tee of Phoenix organization as a golf/life skills coach for young boys and girls. I'm also competing in monthly pro-am golf tournaments organized by the Southwest Golf Association. Trying to test myself against the best senior amateurs in the area. I started Lodestar Technical Solutions to assist companies in sourcing cost competitive, high quality products and services from China. We represent several China based suppliers with the ability to manufacture high quality, competitvely priced electronic and mechanical assembly services.Our primary focus is on supplying electronic contract manufacturing services - from PCBAs to complete system box builds. We also have high quality suppliers for build-to-print, custom heat sinks and cold plates, sheet metal assemblies, precision machining, stamping and multilayer/specialty PCBs. All of our China based suppliers are focused on the export market and currently supply leading US, European and Japanese manufacturers. We serve customers in the medical, power conversion, alternative energy, communications, consumer electronics and industrial markets. We have a China based customer service and engineering support staff to facilitate timely & accurate communications, quality and/or engineering issues resolution. I have an apartment in Shenzhen, China and spend about half my time there and half in the US..

I held various sales and marketing postions at Advanced Power Technology, most recently as the VP of Sales. I was responsible for managing our worldwide sales network consisting of Regional Managers, independent Reps and Distributors. We were acquired by Microsemi Corp in June 2006. I spent 2 years as the VP of Sales for Microsemi, Power Products Group before leaving to pursue personal interests.
