Timely E&O review and validation with CM’s to identify and mitigate HP exposure. Manage scrap process to ensure timely disposition on obsolete materials. Perfect execution on last time buy and EOL to achieve lower excess and liability.

• Responsible for ThinkPad Notebook Global Procurement activities including ODM sourcing strategy, source selection, cost analysis/negotiation, contract terms & conditions management/negotiation, and supplier relationship management. • Work with cross functional teams to explore opportunities on cost reductions. Maintain all necessary records of purchases, quotations, and deliveries. Ensure accurate cost forecasting to Business Unit.• Work with SQE, procurement engineers closely to on-site audit tier 1 and tier 2 key suppliers, review manufacturing process, ensure suppliers to deliver high quality products and processes in time. Ensure on-time delivery, quality goals and performance measurements are met.• Manage Purchasing role in supporting technology plans and requirements for New Product Introductions. Implement Lean Six Sigma approach in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Ensure new products launch into the market timely.• Global Contracts ownership. Consult with legal counsel as required. Have knowledge of contract law, rules and regulations and ability to assess contract compliance and performance.• Develop and maintain high level contact with key suppliers. Engage suppliers to enhance and ensure the Brand Product Portfolio current and future objectives are achieved. • Lead cross functional World Wide teams in integrated assembly sourcing decisions, and manage ongoing supplier Quarterly Business Reviews. Manage supplier performance to meet or exceed Lenovo Systems Quality, Cost, Delivery and Service requirements.

• Responsible for project management of new product introductions for HP notebooks, and ensure smooth transition of new project from research and development, system integration to mass production and sustaining.• Monitor and track progress of project in order to meet customer's requirements; areas to oversee include material availability, engineering readiness, production equipment and production personnel preparation, manpower allocation and quality assurance. • Conduct process optimization for production and set critical parameters, balance resources and performance objectives. • Develop control systems, report measure progress, identify potential problems and implement timely corrective actions to ensure that commitments are met.

• Responsible for supply chain process improvement, rationalize the supply base, improve supplier relationship. • Liaise with Quanta plants and supplier on materials logistics operation - shipping, receiving transportation and inventory-related reduction, order backlog, supplier lead time and handling miss shipment.
