Tom has been involved in child and family well being since 1994. Tom has served at 4KIDS since the year 1998, first as a volunteer and after joining the staff in 2000, he has held many different roles. He is now the Chief Advocacy & Engagement Officer, working with church, community partners and government leaders. He and his wife Linda have fostered more than 50 children over the last 25+ years. Tom was a founding member of Churches United for Foster Care and he served on the inaugural Board of Directors for the Heart Gallery of Broward County. He was appointed to the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council in 2008 and served as the Chairman of that Council from 2011 until 2015. Tom was a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Coalition For Children Foundation and he served from 2021 to 2023 on the Board of Directors for ChildNet in Palm Beach and Broward County. Tom and his wife, Linda were selected as 2013 Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s (CCAI) Angels in Adoption™. Additionally, Tom has spoken at churches throughout the state of Florida and across the country, as well as at the White House on the topic of bringing the Church and the State together to provide exceptional care and support for children and families. Tom's life goal is to see a day when there are more than enough Christian families, to provide a home for every child!
