Overseeing the promotion and growth at sport at a successful Independent school in the South West

Progressed from teaching assistant to Head of Department within 4 years, also holding the roles of Assistant Housemaster, Head of Hockey and teacher of Biology. As well as the day to day running of several areas of the school, I was responsible for leading a team in delivering the sports programme, developing a positive culture towards physical education and implementing a successful and meaningful programme.

Having taken up the role of Junior Associate at Ivy Lettings the start of 2013, I have now worked my way up to the role of Operations Manager which has seen my duties include:- Property Management- Account Management- Recruitment- Managing a team of housekeepers- Writing daily schedules- Overseeing the logistical elements of operations- Developing social media- Management company advertising

6 months voluntary placement with UniSportOnline which provided me with experience in several important areas of marketing, including; - Organising promotional events- Using innovative ideas to increase market exposure- Liaising with potential sponsors and partners- Covering student sport events through live streaming online- Using social networking to tap into the current and potential users

Held a general position within a growing ski company. Duties included:- Assisting within the sales team to drive sales up and beyond targets- Using my knowledge of snow sports to create marketing schemes to promote the company- Developing my knowledge of basic web design and Google Adwords to increase website exposure to potential customers- Working both in resort and in head office as a liaison between management teams- Assisting with staff development in resort- Helping create the complete holiday experience from the moment of inquiry to the completion of holiday
