Below ⬇️...During an exciting trade mission to Slovenia 🇸🇮, led by Isabelle Dierickx and Kim Wylin, my fellow students from HoGent and I had the opportunity to help Flemish SMEs realise their export plans. We researched interest in our regional products, such as Agristo’s fries 🍟, Gulden Spoor’s beer 🍺, and Deprez’s machinery ⚙️. At the end of the week, we presented our findings at a trade fair. Thanks to the collaboration with Flanders Investment & Trade 💱 and local partners, we learned a lot and had a great time!In addition, I had the privilege of working as a VIP chauffeur during the 2023 and 2024 Tour de France 🚴‍♂️🇫🇷 on behalf of Deceuninck NV, main sponsor of Alpecin-Deceuninck. I coordinated transport for guests and invitees, alongside cycling legends like Eric Vanderaerden and Adrie van der Poel 🚗✨. It was an unforgettable experience, where I got to witness the magic of the Tour up close and ensure our VIP guests had an amazing time 🌟🥂.As a 🧑‍🎓 student of SME management at HoGent, I also launched my own business 🚀, in partnership with the Entrepreneur Lab offered by the university. With the guidance of Bart Derre and my mentor Luc Vandingenen, I received invaluable support to further develop my entrepreneurial skills.
