Over 40 years of experience of experience as Civil attorney with 30 plus years as a federal attorney with the US Dept of Justice. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney In the Western District of Oklahoma, I assigned to the Civil Division and served management positions as the Financial litigation Unit attorney, the Chief of the Civil Division, and Senior Litigation Counsel for the office. I was also appointed as a Special United States Attorney in the northern District of Texas and the Eastern District Oklahoma for special litigation in those districts. I was also had a temporary two year assignment Washington DC as the assistant Director for civil education programs and the Director of the Office of Legal Education in the office For United States Attorneys. For more than 20 years until my retirement, I was a Legal Management Evaluator on the Evaluation and Review Staff of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys. As a Legal Management Evaluator , I evaluated 30+ United States attorneys offices around the country. My every day duties as an Assistant US Attorney in the Civil Division involved the handling of bankruptcy litigation, eminent domain litigation, Indian law issues, federal government contract litigation, medical malpractice defense, and other litigation for or against the government. Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in providing legal skills and subject matter education and training, teaching at numerous private and government seminars, and at the National Advocacy Center on the University of South Carolina campus and at National Trial Advocacy courses in Washington DC.
