- Liaise with Department of Home Affairs and Australian Border Force (ABF) in regards to any queries received from those departments and any detainee requests requiring their approval. Ensure that any biometric acquisitions are completed when required to do so.- Ensure compliance with the Work, Health Safety (WHS) policy and procedure and report any areas of concern.

A diverse, time sensitive and multi-disciplinary position, with a high client service emphasis, where the primary objective is to plan, supervise and coordinate all activities on the IBM MAXIMO system; (systems analysis, business reporting, end user training…), which are related to a multi-billion dollar mining operation across three gas plants in the remote desert area of Asab.Additional responsibilities necessitate provision of leadership and direction to a team of five data controllers; administrative control, special projects management, business analysis and continuous improvement implementation.Brief overview of duties:-Extensive interaction & communication with management, team members and end users, IT, HR & the Finance Departments -Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of effective & essential IT requirements within the Oil & Gas Industry, along with contemporary business practices, methods of operation, OH&S and compliance issues & ongoing technological advancements -Prepare established reports & develop new reporting frameworks as requested by internal & external stakeholders. Complex reports for maintenance activities, data clean ups, KPIs & project / finance / budgeting needs. Data Analysis to identify maintenance trends, manpower utilization, predict costs & material requirements-Translating user requirements into system functionality; pilot testing & evaluation of system enhancements & new applications; drafting Business Requirement Documents (BRD) & System Requirement Specifications (SRS); Gap Analysis & facilitating UAT testing; process flows in an Agile environment.- Design & development of user training manuals; generally related to: work requisitions, purchasing, plant change management; training for 800+end users- Management of Quality Accreditation issues for internal & external audits; systems, procedures & all relevant documentation. Background:In-charge of the IT Helpdesk and all IT related activities in 2 Gas Plants that have servers running Windows Server &Exchange Server and 400+ clients (PCs & notebooks) running Windows 7. The Helpdesk uses HP IT ServiceManagement (ITSM) to log and monitor the status of calls. Remote control software is also used to support users inremote locations.The standard software used by the end users include MS Office, MS Project & Maximo. Software like AutoCAD,Autodesk View, Integraph SmartPlant, Crystal Reports & Engineering Applications (Citect, Snapshot, Caesar II etc)are also widely used. The Helpdesk provides first level support for ERP systems like Maximo, Oracle Financials andOracle HCM.Job Functions:- End-user support of software, hardware.- Creating & managing users.- Providing network connectivity.- Installing network switches & modems.- Periodic analysis of support calls & development of solutions for recurring problems.- Defining procedures for Helpdesk operations and maintaining the IT inventory in the plant.- Liaising with various departments to study their business process & identify requirements for hardware, software, training & office automation.- Periodic upgrading of software & hardware and co-ordinating with HQ on all IT related issues.
