Supervise 11 direct reports and provide oversight of 150 Shari’s, and Coco’s and Carrows restaurants employing 5K staff.Develop strategic plans to identify IT applications in support of business plans, and create new strategic options.Plan and control staffing levels and development, oversee hardware acquisitions and facilities for IT systems, and ensure consistency with corporate business plans to meet organizational expectations.Direct the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs and software to meet corporate needs.Administer and control the information systems expense budget, consistently contributing to operational cost savings.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of developments in IT systems and hardware to ensure new developments are incorporated into the future systems of the company.Identify and present hardware and software options to ensure computer capabilities are responsive to corporate needs and growth, and remain abreast in state-of-the-art developments through attendance at trade shows and conferences.Maintain a continuous relationship with managers in functional departments regarding data processing matters, answering questions, evaluating needs, monitoring service levels, advising on issues, and encouraging continued training. Purchased and integrated 48 Coco’s and Carrows into Ultimate Payroll by installing Micros 2700 and Restaurant Magic.Installed VOIP and cut data and phone expenses by 50%. Created the Shari’s Helpdesk department, saving the company $250K per year in software support.Installed multiple software programs, including Micros 3700 POS, Ultimate Software Payroll and HRMS, Talent Reef ATS, PeopleSoft Financials, MSSQL server data mart using BusinessObject reports, Restaurant Magic back office, Hot Schedule labor scheduling, Paytronix gift card and loyalty programs, OLO online ordering, and UberEats, DoorDash and Grubhub third party delivery.
