As co-associate medical director of William Jenkins Health Center, developed clinical protocols and oversaw clinic operations of resident and faculty providers. Developed instruction materials and oversaw training sessions for inaugural clinic preceptors, and precepted residents in full-spectrum outpatient setting. As core faculty member, served on residency selection committee, implemented longitudinal practice management curriculum, and oversaw development of the residency didactics. Collaborated with staff from across the organization to develop eight new outpatient curricula for the residency program.

Provide full-spectrum primary care to children and adults at an urban, underserved Federally Qualified Health Center. Precept medical students, resident physicians and nurse practitioner residents during clinical care. Coordinate with team of recovery support specialists, social workers and psychiatrists to provide medication-assisted treatment to patients with substance use disorder. Directed and implemented improvements in inpatient and outpatient curriculum and clinical rotations by balancing resident requests with program priorities and logistical limitations across departments. Participated in multi-disciplinary clinic management team meetings to evaluate clinic performance, supervise Quality Improvement (QI) implementation, and support clinic operations. Mentored 45 residents on clinical decision-making and professional development.

Instructed ESL students from over 35 different countries in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade science courses. Co-developed ESL Science curriculum for Environmental Science and Living Environment. Provided Professional Development sessions on ESL strategies in the science classroom. Directed the NY Cares student service group. Served on Professional Development Committee and Accreditation Committee. Taught an after-school class in Capoeira and helped to organize multiple student assemblies and performances.

Selected to train first-year Teach for America teachers to develop comprehensive curricula and engaging lesson plans in order to improve student achievement and increase effectiveness in the classroom.

Served in a national corps of teachers placed in under-resourced schools working to end educational inequality.

Developed and grew business into leading summer storage provider for Johns Hopkins students. Services include transporting students’ items from their dorm rooms, storing them in a secured facility while they are on break, and delivering them to their new residences in the fall.
