Oversaw the growth of the construction division that started with a single Navy contract and in six years grew to 52 projects worth $108 million completed or in progress.

Sector Manager - Managed approximately $80 - $100 million per year of heavy civil and industrial design-build and construction projects. Responsible for entire Pacific Sector operation, including over 200 craft workers, 60 salaried employees and over 30 projects. Duties included staffing of projects, interface with customers, review of project performance, and managing professional staff. Project Manager, U.S. Army Blue Grass Chemical Agent Disposal Pilot Plant. This was a $2 billion design, build, and operate program to destroy an Army stockpile of chemical weapons located in Richmond, KY. Designer of Record responsible for managing the engineering staff of approximately 200 people during the design phase, completing $110 million of self-performed engineering work and $40 million in subcontracted engineering design. Program Manager, Kaho’olawe UXO Clearance Project. This $350 million project involved the detection, removal, treatment and disposal of unexploded ordnance on the island of Kaho’olawe, Hawaii. Managed a 400-person work force located on Kaho’olawe and in four supporting offices. Oversaw the design / build of approximately $17 million of new infrastructure.Deputy Program Manager, U.S. Army Cooperative Threat Reduction Program. This $600 million contract was for the design-build of a chemical weapons destruction facility in Shchuch’ye, Russia. Project Manager, Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program. Managed home office engineering for the Army Corps of Engineers chemical weapons incineration plant in Tooele, Utah. Responsibilities included preparation of design submittals, cost estimates, and structural, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering studies. Handled equipment acquisition, managed engineers responding to contractor requests for information, reviewed vendor submittals, coordinated with and supported the field office.
