CEO of Nazata Bio, a digital therapeutics company focusing on high blood pressure.Developed the national COVID-19 Critical Care Index, a clinical risk tool used to alert teams of deteriorating patients and predict ICU bed demand. This was subsequently deployed nationally by the HSE, Ireland's national health service in April 2020.Worked in Royal College of Surgeon's prestigious INCA Group. Previously completed academic track intern year in Beaumont Hospital working in the specialties of orthopaedics, respiratory medicine/academia, gastroenterology and nephrology. Conducted an intercalated MSc in Bioengineering with research focusing on developing an early detection system for asthma exacerbations to facilitate earlier and more effective treatment paradigms. Awarded first prize in MIT's Hacking Medicine 2016 European event, for the development of a mobile platform for facilitating neurorehabilitation in stroke patients.
