 Collaborated directly with auditors to validate contract receivables (AR) and work in process (WIP) as part of annual audit. Restructured and took over AR collections process (approx. 20 – 23 Mil.). Aligned collections process to with company cash management goal (collect 96% or greater of revenues generated).  Managed month end revenue review process to reduce financial reporting from three days to one day. Rolled out and oversaw the implementation of purchase order (PO) system. Primary focus of PO system was to provide committed costs as part of project reporting. Managed growth within finance department to meet the needs of corporate growth objectives. Provided balance sheet reconciliations for cash and receivables as needed. Replaced monthly flash report with Sales and backlog report. Created and monitored Technical Practice Group (TPG) reporting. TPG represents the different engineering disciplines.  Backed up Payroll Manager as needed in the posting of weekly labor.

 Substantiated the monthly revenue recognition (6-12mil) via divisional multiplier review.  Administrated revenue recognition via mid-month and end of month reviews. Managed Invoicing process to align corporate objectives with client expectations. Worked directly with staff to promote continuous improvement and resolve challenges with invoicing, collections, A/R reporting, reserves, and adjustments. Provided punctual monthly results to corporate management via flash report prior to delivery of financial statements. Flash report provided key performance information including chargeable salary, utilization, revenues, sales, and DSO. Later replaced by Sales and Backlog report. Provided company utilization reporting on a weekly basis. Utilization reporting was provided by employee as well as division. Performed bank reconciliations on company’s three accounts. Also monitored/managed all positive pay notifications.

 Collaborated with corporate controller and project managers to validate the values of critical factor contracts (CFC’s). CFC’s were larger, higher profile projects that could influence company performance. Provided project managers with biweekly invoices. Maintained schedules of invoicing, deferrals, WIP, and adjustments. Worked with controller to assist with acquisitions as needed.

 Oversaw the reconciliation process of large group premium billing department. Managed the processing of new groups (clients) and completed monthly status reports. Managed all aspects of premium billing for larger, high profile, more complex employer groups.

 Managed a department within a manufacturing operation. Monitored key metrics such as production flow, quality control, and physical inventory of the operation.
