Motivated professional in the science and finance industry, also a journalist, writer and instructor. My early experience was in the Quality Assurance and then moved into leadership roles in Release Management, Project Management and Security Policy and Compliance. Goal driven, client oriented and self motivated, I'm particularly inspired/interested in companies with a social impact mission/approach.Other areas and activities of professional interest• While at IBM served as the company's regional transportation representative interfacing with town managers to form a regional transportation authority (RTA) as well as the MassDOT, MBTA and other companies to form and facilitate other alternative transportation options.• Served on the Cambridge City Manager’s appointed Bike Committee for over 10 years to promote biking as an alternative mode of transportation and to help make cycling safe and equitable for all.• Served as the Treasure and Board Member for Cambridge Community TV.• Mentored a youth through the Big Brother program. He has since graduated college, begun his adult life and we still stay in constant contact.• Published journalist and writer.• Teach writing/journalism classes at various Boston writing institutions.
