I have helped to build up a substantial service offering and make Price Bailey's Academies Team one of the country’s leading expert forums, offering advice that is comprehensive and pragmatic, pre-emptively and responsively.I also look after a growing portfolio of audit and assurance clients outside of the world of education in Price Bailey's corporate team, based in Bishop's Stortford but operating around the A11/M11 corridor. My clients cover a wide range of sectors. From not for profit organisations through to commercial owner managed businesses and globally controlled UK based subsidiaries that Price Bailey have always serviced. No two days ever seem to be the same and every time the phone rings I can expect a different kind of question. It certainly keeps me out of trouble!From regular client contact to file reviews, team management and billing, my role presents a wide range of challenges day to day.I am also trustee of NET Academies Trust, a multi academy trust including a number of local schools in West Essex. Giving my time to school governance over the last 10 years has been the single most beneficial thing I have ever done to make myself a better professional and a better person. The challenges it presents give me a valuable insight into the skills required to hold the leaders of a multi million pound organisation with a varied group of stakeholders, to account.
