Ever since my first job at age 16, I have always maintained an occupation that was predominantly based around customer service and interaction. In my more recent past, with the LIRR, I earned multiple commendation letters for displaying exemplary customer service skills, and I am proud to say that I have been working in the customer service field for almost 30 years. In addition to my customer service skills, I have been employed by Stony Brook University Hospital since 2010, and have held multiple positions, some in the supervisory role, that require quick thinking and problem solving under pressure. My current position of Fit Testing Specialist has been instrumental in not only honing my attention to detail, a skill necessary for success in your organization, but has galvanized my ability to establish a strong professional rapport with everyone with whom I work. This facilitates my ability to educate the staff on our products as well as their ability and desire to use them. This is absolutely paramount in the sales profession. I have also learned to quickly become fluent with intricate computer systems that are less than intuitive. While some of my competitors may have more traditional sales experience, I am confident that my drive, personality, ability, and dedication to learning, more than makes up for that. I am confident that I will excel if given the opportunity.
