Highlights include:● I was the Coordinator for the Cascades to Coast Landscape Collaborative, a collective impact effort for conservation and resource management in the Northwest coastal landscape. This involves convening stakeholders, social network analysis, ecosystem assessment, and collaborative strategy development. ● I worked with the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives on several landscape assessments and planning efforts in the Northwest, including the Columbia Plateau and the Northwest Basin and Range. I was a key team member on the development of the practice of Landscape Conservation Design, a framework developed by the DOI and partners to integrate ecological and human elements in allocating resources. ● I developed a data mining and optimization analysis of important areas for subsistence fisheries use and biodiversity conservation in the Bering Sea.● I managed two wetland assessment and mapping projects at Camas and Willapa National Wildlife Refuges.● I lead the development of a collaborative assessment of forested areas in Oregon and Washington for ecosystem services, conservation and economic criteria. ● I was the lead for developing a National-scale Return-on-Investment (ROI) analysis for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This combined economic, social and conservation data to identify optimal investment portfolios.
