My story so far, 1995 - now.....I founded ITC ('It's Tom's Company') on 4th January 1995, and for 23 years, two months, and 15 days, I successfully led the company. On 4th November 2016, we sold the business for a then-record 18.2x Earnings. When I started ITC, I had a purpose. I wanted to create a company that "Made a Difference," and I believe we delivered on this ambition, and the company today continues to go from strength to strength. I am still a significant investor in ITC Secure, and I love the company, its people, and they will go on to great things. Thank you to everyone that was a part of my journey at ITC. In 2016, I embarked on a new chapter, and that was always part of the plan. I have invested in, and I am a mentor to, and advisor to several cyber tech companies, and I will work hard to get them established as market leaders. Today my main focus is as CEO at Venari Security. A company where I was a very early investor. Soon after I had the opportunity to acquire the company. I believe Venari is the next big thing in Encrypted Traffic Analysis. There’s a gap and we are filling it! The other big thing I’m involved in, is Lounges.tv. I’m a non-executive and founder investor. Lounges.tv are a very exciting business who are disrupting the live video streaming market. I love being around young entrepreneurs; their energy and ideas inspire me to reach greater heights. With 25 yrs of business experience behind me, I genuinely believe I can help these young leaders build better and more successful companies. In years to come, I would like to establish my own VC Fund, I have learnt from some great leaders in this space. First, I need to prove that I can pick great tech, and continue building the story in this ever-changing and exciting cybersecurity marketplace.
