About Tom Mueller

With over 2 decades of experience in leading research and development programs for solar technology, I am a visionary and growth-focused RD&D technologist, a global leader in solar innovation and sustainability. My mission is to improve the efficiency and lower the cost of solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale markets.I oversee RD&D vision and strategy on solar cell, panel, beyond-the-panel, space-based solar power, energy storage, battery, high-volume equipment/automation, and industry 4.0 smart manufacturing. I built and lead a world-class RD&D team of 30 scientists and engineers for cell, module, and beyond-the-panel R&D. I have authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers and conference proceedings and hold over 20 patents/invention disclosures in the area of solar energy and renewable energy.
