Tom has extensive experience in transportation, and workers compensation specializing in teaching and training companies to think beyond regulatory requirements and to focus on making true organizational change through behavior based methodologies. In addition to his risk engineering experience Tom has broad experience in underwriting, marketing, and mitigating insurance risk.Tom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Safety Management and Fire Science from the University of Central Missouri and is currently working on his MBA.Outside of the industry, Tom is a 6th Degree Master Instructor of Youn Wha Ryu Tae Kwon Do, a purple belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and a Level II Certified Police & Military Combative's Instructor. Tom is member of various community organizations and assists a number of charities in their fundraising endeavors. Tom specializes in teaching community women’s self-defense courses and works with children with wide ranging disabilities offering them the opportunity to participate and enjoy the many benefits of martial arts.
