My responsibilities included: • Creating project plans and critical paths for the delivery of several events annually, with attendances ranging from 2,000 – 70,000 persons, as well as various satellite events including dinners, presentations, networking events.• Managing a team of full-time and seasonal event production staff as well as a volunteer program and casual event day staff hiring. Conducted training sessions and event briefings for all staff.• Managing the budgeting and regular forecasting of all costs associated with the production and administration of the event including travel, entertainment, printing, promotional items, staffing, registration/ticketing etc. • Producing event collateral including mobile apps, posters and giveaways and event guides. This included 100+ page directories with the involvement of numerous stakeholders.• Event procurement and purchasing including uniforms, promotional giveaways and sellable merchandise•Creating a client and customer management plan, leading a team responsible for assisting clients and sponsors with all fulfilment requirements, creation of sales tools and collateral and call centre requirements. Developed an online helpdesk solution that dramatically improved customer satisfaction and allowed for better tracking of issues and resolution rates.• Managing event ticketing and registration, including dispute resolution, collateral production, onsite sales, cash handling and entry and exit procedures.• Worked collaboratively with several high-profile clients and partners to create customised engaging event activations, including The Walt Disney Company and Roadshow Entertainment to further the promotion of their products.
