This software is also used to maintain PCI Compliance.

    Responsible for the management, financial budget and coordination of all technology activities with a staff of over 110 and budget of just under $30 million that supported the trading and clearing business for option and stock trading clients. Tasked by the owners and private equity investors, I created a two year vision to improve all technology areas including the infrastructure, national communication network (voice and data) and the application suite used by employees and customers. The upgrade program was managed through a series of project plans to control the rate of change and to reduce business risk as the new technology platform evolved. The new vision was completed 6 months early and $3 million under budget. The strict use of a change management process that assessed the financial and technological impact of any change brought by the business or via weekly project reviews with the staff was the key to success of the program. As a result the value of the company increased by more than $100 million as was seen in the sale price of the company to Merrill Lynch. During and after the 9/11 attacks, of which Pax’s New York location was 1 block away from ground zero, the new environment assured that no data was lost and all clients were immediately operational. During the time that followed, I worked with the American and New York Stock Exchanges to repair their infrastructure and bring the exchanges back online.
