Tom Murray is co-founder and Executive Vice President of WindCrest Development Group, Inc. a privately held real estate development company headquarted in Orlando, Florida. He is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of commercial and residential real estate development experience. As V.P., Tom is responsible for supervising all aspects of the development activities from predevelopment due-diligence, design, construction and thru final project close-out. Tom is a licensed professional engineer for over 35 years, specializing in civil/land development. During his career, Tom has developed projects from large mixed-use developments to retail shopping centers. To date Tom has developed over 2,500,000 square feet of commercial properties with total project development costs exceeding $250,000,000.Tom recently completed the developments of several Publix anchored shopping centers including Middle Beach Commons in Jax Beach, South Walton Publix in Santa Rosa Beach, Shops @ Stoneybrook Hills in Mount Dora, SouthWood Village Publix Center, Stadium Corners @ Viera, Partin Village, and WaterColor Crossings. Presently he is working through the development stages on several other grocery anchored centers located throughout the Central and Northwest Florida markets. Prior to starting WindCrest, Tom completed several development projects for The St. Joe Company including, Panama City’s Pier Park Retail Development, SouthWood Town Center, PCB Home Depot, and PCB Lowes. Preceding the real estate development side, Tom as a professional engineer provided land development/civil engineering design services for all types of developments. This past experience makes for a flawless transition between the design professionals throughout the development completion.Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The University of Central Florida in 1983 and obtained his professional engineers license in 1989. Tom is a member of ASCE, ICSC, and NAIOP.
