★ Leverage resources within the Emerging Digital organization in coordination with 3D metrology services and VR/AR/MR teammates to develop advanced technological capabilities that can aid work groups throughout the enterprise.★ Expand utilization of 3D metrology services beyond the nuclear business unit into the renewable energy, transmission, data analytics, and fossil/hydro operations organizations.

★ Project leader in planning for numerous short- and long-term projects in energy plant updates and modifications in nuclear, hydro, wind, natural gas, and coal generation facilities. ★ Put in place stringent operational processes and procedures that streamlined optimal operations processes and ensured consistency and uninterrupted production. ★ Identified project resources, ensured LOTO and equipment was available, and coordinated projects with plant-wide leadership.★ Proposed and launched a dedicated metrology team as a key resource for all facilities and followed the Duke Nuclear Advantage initiative—all targeting future savings of up to $20 million in 30 years. ★ Leveraged the ability of a highly cross trained team to develop bid estimates that provided significant advantages against external vendor bids. Key Highlights☆ Received pilot approval in Jan 2017 and saved more than $1 million utilizing a 3-man team that supported 34 individual projects across 11 nuclear reactors, two hydro stations and transmission. ☆ Nominated for the James B. Duke Award for innovation efforts in utilizing cost-effective 3D metrology technology. ☆ Encouraged innovative thinking and workforce autonomy by explanation of “why” to gain alignment with initiatives, building a solid and independent team environment.

★ Promoted to challenging leadership roles during tenure; managed large project budgets that totaled up to hundreds of millions of dollars. Managed up to 350 plant-wide personnel.★ Develop project estimation packages to resource needs, work completion timelines, tool/shop utilization optimization.★ Ensured fabrication was performed to quality standards in welding, pipefitting, rigging, and lifting by managing mechanical craftsmanship and productivity. ★ Partnered with plant QA leadership that ensured mechanical, welding, and civil inspections requirements were in met. ★ Developed a contract workforce training program for contractor plant personnel, successfully trained 100+ craft specific qualifications in 3 months with a limited training team.★ Fostered a collaborative workforce mindset that drove teamwork and valued personnel focused on morale, inclusion, job understanding, and increased production. ★ Passed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission GFFS exam and assisted in reactor operations, completing ongoing systems training, and abnormal procedures. ★ Served as team leader over operations focused on reduction of a 3-year procedure revision backlog, updated within 3 months. ★ Drove greater improvements in operations safety and efficiencies. ★ Accepted ownership of continuing training program CRC, and served on the Fire Brigade and Emergency Response Organization with SCBA qualification.

★ Trained in nuclear power plant operations and served as an engineering lab technician, monitoring radiological project work, surveys, and contamination controls. ★ Maintained mechanical HVAC, hydraulics, chillers, nuclear systems, and equipment needed to sustain a fully operational nuclear power plant. ★ Handled radioactive material as a qualified team member and served as a member in the radiological fire brigade team.
